Herbal therapy for stress related conditions

There are many recent reports about the benefits of taking St John’s Wort for mild depression and stress related conditions.

However, this is only one of the many herbal nervous system tonics available to herbalists.  Others include: Oats, Lemon balm, Passionflower, Valerian, Scullcap, Chamomile & Vervain.

An individual experiencing stress-related symptoms and conditions will obtain the most benefit from these herbal tonics when they have them prescribed and dispensed by a qualified herbalist.  

The herbalist assesses the various aspects of the sufferer’s condition and treats them by using specific tonics in the form of a herbal complex (either in a tablet or liquid form).

Symptoms that may be eased with the use of herbal medicines:

  • Tension headaches
  • Digestive upsets
